Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche’s Annual Ngakso Memorial Puja

On February 9th, the annual Ngakso─”Ocean of Amrita Mantric-mending”─puja will be performed in Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery’s main temple to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche’s parinirvana on February 13th, 1996.

The one-day puja will be presided over by Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche’s eldest son, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, eldest grandson, Phakchok Rinpoche, and his incarnation, Tulku Urgyen Yangsi Rinpoche. For those interested, the Ngakso Sadhana, “Ocean of Amrita”, is fully translated into English, easy to follow, and available for purchase in the monastery’s library.

Throughout the day, all visitors are welcome as observers or participants in the puja, and may come and go as they wish.
