On September 4th, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s global mandala of students came together to celebrate Rinpoche’s birthday.

Since Rinpoche has not been able to travel and teach this summer, the monks of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling have organized an online program for all of us to connect with Rinpoche, offer prayers for Rinpoche to live very, very long, and to request teachings.

On this special Dakini Day of the auspicious Saga Dawa month, the monks of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery practiced the extraordinary full-day Chöd practice by the third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, called “Tsokle Rinchen Trengwa.”  

In this short video Rinpoche gives us some advice for practice in the face of the suffering that many people are facing during the current situation in our world.
