New Access Road to Vajrayogini Temple and Asura Cave in Pharping
The Vajrayogini Temple in Pharping is among the most revered pilgrimage places in Nepal, drawing devout Buddhists and Hindus of all cultures and traditions. Their journey to this important site has now been made easier with the construction of a new access road sponsored in large part by Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery. The road also provides easier access to the Asura cave, an important holy place of Padmasambhava and Goraknath. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche opened the new road and a parking lot with a small ceremony attended by members of the local community. Locals, visitors, and pilgrims alike expressed appreciation for Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling’s support for the town of Pharping area and its community.
