The grand inauguration of Pal Thubten Shedrub Ling Monastery (1000 Buddha Temple) in Lumbini took place on November 22, 2024, during the sacred occasion of Lhabab Düchen, the Festival of Buddha’s Descent from Heaven. Attended by over 8,000 guests, including senior monks, Rinpoches, global sangha members, and high-profile dignitaries like H.M. the Former King of Nepal and the Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal, the event marked a major milestone in Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s vision. The event, which spanned from November 19 to 23, was a harmonious blend of profound rituals, empowerments, teachings, and joyous celebration.

Following this monumental gathering, the 44th Annual Fall Seminar and Tara’s Triple Excellence Retreat were held, continuing the deep Dharma engagement at the monastery. A photo gallery capturing these moments of spiritual grandeur is now available for the sangha’s joy and inspiration.
