On the auspicious day of Saga Dawa Duchen, we celebrated the first step in the inauguration of Pal Thubten Shedrub Ling Monastery. Yesterday, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche gave the first teaching in the main shrine hall seated directly in front of the three freshly consecrated magnificent 16-foot golden statues of the Buddhas of the past, present and future as well as the 1000 Buddha Shakyamuni statues.
