Pujas held in Lumbini upon the Completion of Himalayan Sangha’s One-Month Retreat

Rejoice in the completion of our Himalayan sangha’s preliminary practice retreat!  On the most recent Dakini Day, 22 January, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche led more than 600 Himalayan practitioners in pujas in Lumbini to mark the conclusion of the one-month preliminary practice retreat that was held at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling.  The day in Lumbini began with a walking meditation from the Korean temple to the Maya Devi temple at the Buddha’s birth place, where Rinpoche led the group in the the Trinley Nyingpo and Chöd practices. Later in our own temple, which is still under construction, Rinpoche gave teachings and offered congratulations and certificates to the participants who completed the preliminary practice retreat.
