Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in his annual Bodhgaya trip
Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche visited this year again Bodhgaya on his annual trip teaching students from the Carlton College (formerly Antioch) Program. On October 24th, a special full moon day, Rinpoche was very happy to see an extraordinary beautiful and very solid Buddha statue that is now in front of the Mahabodhi stupa.
The Carlton students, along with some of Rinpoche’s students who accompanied him from Kathmandu, enjoyed receiving Rinpoche’s teachings in this holy place. A group of students also received refuge and Bodhisattva vows along with instructions next to the Mahabodhi Temple, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
