Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery and Nagi Nunnery in Nepal are the heart of the international Shedrub Mandala. From these monastic institutions, the Buddha’s teachings on wisdom and compassion spread through a global network of centers around the world. They also support social action in Nepal—from providing traditional and secular education to young children from rural villages, to offering food packages to subsistence workers impacted by the pandemic, to supporting women’s health and empowerment.

Prominent musical artists, including Cher, and special guest, Richard Gere, have come together in support of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery and Nagi Nunnery. Renowned Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and abbot of the monastery, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, will give a brief teaching and introduction before the concert.
