Release of Thousands of Fish

On February 16th, the Monastery will be purchasing living fish from the local fish market and releasing them into a river to the south of Kathmandu.

This is an old Buddhist practice meant to benefit the animals that are released, the practitioners who set them free, and anyone who rejoices in this.

You are all very welcome to join this event from wherever you live, either by making good wishes or by making a donation toward the release of the fish.
