We are delighted to announce that Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, founder of Dharma House Lisbon, is very kindly sending his close personal aid, Khenpo Pema Namgyal, to offer the very first seminar at Dharma House Lisbon.

This opening seminar will take place from the 19th to the 21st of April, 2024. It is our fondest hope that this weekend event will quickly pave the way for Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, himself, to come and officially inaugurate the Dharma House by gracing us with his powerful presence and granting profound Dharma teachings.

Khenpo Pema Namgyal also has kindly agreed to give an open public talk in Lisbon, on April, 14.

Khenpo Pema Namgyal, who speaks fluent English, is an esteemed professor of Buddhist philosophy who teaches at Rangjung Yeshe Institute (RYI) in Kathmandu. Moreover, he is a senior monk residing at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery (KNSL) and one of Rinpoche’s most trusted personal attendants.

During his weekend seminar, Khenpo will offer teachings based on “THE FOUR TRUTHS OF THE NOBLE ONES” and happily answer questions in this regard.

Dharma House Lisbon is nestled in the beautiful village of ‘Azenhas do Mar’, a short distance from Lisbon, Portugal. The house, itself, has a magnificent view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Dharma House is just 40 minutes by car from Lisbon Airport or downtown Lisbon, and is also reachable from Lisbon City Center by public transport.
